You do weight lifting or jogging or walk everyday. And do you think is it all about health? Let us check.

Being healthy is everyone’s dream, but some of us are not ready to do anything for it. Many of us go to the gym and do workouts based on our goals. But I think this has only added 20-30% to a healthy lifestyle. Even though there are many definitions of being healthy in various sciences such as allopathy, ayurveda, or homeopathy – being healthy means for us is combination of
- Happy state if mind
- Good thoughts
- Energetic, pleasant state of body
There is no single path to attain all of these, but we have different ways to reach these points. I’m just explaining my personal view about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle through the points below.
Diet
Understand that there is a strong relationship between our mind and body. A balanced diet will help us maintain a harmonious connection between our mind and body. A balanced diet aids in promoting good digestion and provides the necessary micro and macronutrients required by the body. A painless and relaxed body contributes to keeping our mind calm to a great extent.
Timing
You read it right, and this is true for all cases! Maintaining the same time for every activity, such as waking up, taking a bath, having food, working out, etc., will keep our biological clock in sync. Keeping a schedule will also help reduce stress hormones. So choose a timing for each of your actions, and make sure you follow it. This will have a truly positive impact on your lifestyle and even your career. Staying organized is the best key to reaching a goal smoothly.
Sleep
This may be the hardest point for some of us. However, sleep has a significant impact on your health, mind, and thoughts. For example, a sleep-deprived human will appear stressed and will have their day spoiled, which can also negatively affect others’ days. During sleep, most of our organs rest, and this rest is essential for the efficient functioning of our organs. Having insufficient sleep results in high cortisol levels, leading to increased stress on your mind. Therefore, always aim to maintain a minimum of 6 to 7 hours of sleep each night.
Exercise
Engaging in exercise is always beneficial for numerous reasons, such as keeping your heart healthy, maintaining good levels of blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar levels, and body weight. Additionally, there are many other benefits, including the regulation of happy hormones and improved quality of sleep. However, ensure that you are not overtraining, as doing so can lead to exhaustion and frequent illness. I used to work out 5 days a week, with each session lasting a maximum of 55 minutes.
Takeaway
- Just doing workout won’t make you healthy
- Being healthy means peaceful mind and thoughts and painless, relaxed body.
- Balanced diet, having time for everything, sleep, exercise will be the key to attain a healthy lifestyle.
